Richard Dodson is an Attorney-at-Law and founding partner of the law firm Dodson & Hooks APLC, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States. A specialist in the field of international maritime and admiralty law, he started practising in 1966 and was one of the first lawyers in Louisiana to address international maritime personal injury. In addition to representing clients in court, Richard served as an adjunct professor of law at Tulane University and the Southern University Schools of Law for over 30 years. Richard taught international summer schools in Greece from 1987 to 2916. In addition to serving in the SRI-T Advisory Board, Richard is a member of the LSU National Board in Louisiana.
